SAR Hosts Schoolwide Interactive ARTS Festival

At SAR Academy, the arts play a vital role in the day to day, offering our students opportunities to express themselves creatively, develop critical thinking skills and build confidence. Art and music are about more than technique—they are about imagination, voice and self-discovery.

Each May, this commitment is brought to life through the Interactive ARTS Festival, a joyful celebration where music fills the air and the hallways become galleries. Students from ELC through eighth grade showcase their work, while families explore hands-on workshops and curated exhibitions.

This year’s theme, “Panim El Panim” (“Face to Face”), reflected the power of connection. In the final weeks of school, the upstairs art studio became a hub of creativity and collaboration. Teachers visited to admire works-in-progress, and students from all grades took ownership—not only creating art but curating and preparing displays, often sacrificing free time to help.

On May 20, SAR Academy welcomed families for an evening filled with pride and inspiration. The artwork was stunning, but it was the dedication, teamwork and joy behind it that made the night unforgettable.

More than an event, the Interactive ARTS Festival is a celebration of community, creativity and the light each student brings to SAR. Thank you for joining—face to face.
