This week, the SAR High School Drama Society presented Into The Woods, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine. The musical weaves together the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales. The main characters are taken from “Little Red Riding Hood,” “Jack and the Beanstalk,” “Rapunzel,” “Cinderella” and several others. Yasher koach to all the cast members: Meirav Schwab, Max Weiner, Margot Mattio, Emunah Grimaldi, Jolie Glezerman, Boaz Siegel, Jonah Kestenbaum, Hallel Walker, Nava Pollak, Amalya Marmar, Aderet Maslow, Ti Maslow, Stefanie Chernow—as well as the members of the crew, Abby Stein, Hadar Groner, Benny Rosenblum, Charlie Rosen, Andrew Loskove, Davidi Abraham, Hila Loeser and Gabriel Jabbour. There were two showings of the performance, one during the school day for SAR HS students and faculty, and a second in the evening for parents and the rest of the community.
