There’s no better way to bond with your classmates than interacting beyond the classroom. Last week, 179 freshmen met at SAR HS for davening and breakfast, then set out for a morning of engaging activities at Glen Island Park in New Rochelle, New York.
“We planned a series of team building activities and informal educational activities that will further introduce students to life at SAR High School and will help them bond as a grade,” said Sarah Heller, freshman grade level coordinator. “The program at the park was followed by a trip to Skyzone where students enjoyed the trampolines and warrior course among other activities.”
“Freshman Day was an incredible bonding experience allowing me to connect and become closer to so many new people,” said Faye M. “The highlight of Freshman Day for me was when we went to Sky Zone, where we all enjoyed jumping and hanging out together.”
Many students bonded with their peers throughout the day and returned to school ready to take on the school year with their newly found friends.
