On Tuesday, April 11 SAR HS hosted “The Gift of Life Bone Marrow Registry” drive during advisory for juniors and seniors. Dr. Yardaena Osband addressed the students, explaining how the process works, the potential life-saving possibilities and why her family is committed to this amazing cause. Faculty members who had the privilege of having been bone marrow donors shared their stories and the emotional impact it had on them. Students then had the opportunity to register themselves. They took cotton swabs of their cheeks, entered their information and over 150 students now have the opportunity to do this unbelievable chesed.
