Despite the cold, snowy weather outside, the SAR HS gym was filled with warmth and ruach as students and faculty ushered in Rosh Chodesh Shevat with a festive chagiga. Following tefillah, students enjoyed donuts in the gym followed by dancing led by Shim Craimer and his band. The chagiga featured the usual shtick from seniors who rained confetti and balloons down on students from the balcony throughout the chagiga. Students danced to fast songs and then packed the perimeter of the gym, with arms around each other to sing slow songs before heading back to class. The chagiga was a wonderful way to kick off the new month and begin a day of learning!
