SAR played Ma’ayanot for the third time this season. After losing to them both regular season games, the Sting was looking to avenge those defeats. The first half went back and forth with solid defense by both teams. Ma’ayanot had strong inside play by Klein and good dribble penetration by Tepler. SAR began to pull away midway through the third quarter with Lucy Hecht converting 12 straight free throws and Leah Stern’s nifty lay ups. SAR continued their strong defense led by Yonah Pretsfelder, Rebekah Altholz and Gabby Mogilner. SAR pulled out the victory and is now looking for back-back-back championships. Go Sting!
