In a thriller that only MYHSL Boys Volley­ball could provide, the #3 seeded SAR Sting took down the #2 seeded Frisch Cougars in Paramus.

The match started out with Frisch in com­plete control. Point after point, it seemed that Frisch’s lead in the first set would result in cer­tain victory. But with the score locked at 23-17 in favor of Frisch, the Sting went on a ferocious rally and were able to tie the score at 24 before eventually stealing the set, 26-24.

With momentum in SAR’s favor, SAR put up a dominating second set, winning by a fi­nal of 25-16, and securing its spot in the cham­pionship game against North Shore Hebrew High School.

The final game should be a great match­up, to be played in Yeshiva University’s MSAC.
