RKYHS students enjoyed an exciting night of school spirit and camaraderie at its second annual Sports Night and tailgate. The entire evening and night promoted a sense unity among the students and the school spirit was palpable throughout the building. The students came together as one and you could feel the warmth and cohesiveness of the RKYHS community.

After school and Maariv, students headed outside for a tailgate party to kick off Sports Night. Students and teachers enjoyed an extensive BBQ, hung out and bonded around one of the many fire pits, roasted marshmallows and participated in a range of sports activities such as soccer darts, speed pitch, football toss, a fully-fitted video game truck and the tailgating classic, corn hole. To round out the tailgate experience, a DJ was brought in to enhance the atmosphere.

Next, everyone prepared for a night of cheering on their fellow classmates at the seven home games that were all played on the same night. Each student received an RKYHS Sports Night shirt to enhance the spirit as they cheered for the basketball, volleyball, wrestling and hockey teams. Go Cobras!
