Not even a pandemic can stop Pink Day….or days that is. This year, with one grade out each day, pink permeated the hallways of TABC on two days, as the upperclassmen marked the day on Tuesday, and the underclassmen on Wednesday. Both days started out with pink doughnuts (breakfast of champions) and each morning Rabbi Adelman spoke about the origins of Pink Day, which started at TABC and quickly became a phenomenon in schools across the country. This year’s Pink Days raised over $4,000 for charity. Keynote speaker Cary Riker shared a moving firsthand account of her mother’s battle with breast cancer, which resonated with students and faculty alike. Her captivating address provided an appropriate prelude to the ensuing shiurim. Thank you to Rabbi Yosef Adler, Rabbi Gary Beitler, Rabbi Dovid Einhorn, Rabbi Daniel Fridman, Rabbi Michael Hoenig, Rabbi Jonathan Kessel and Rabbi Raphi Mandelstam for their insightful shiurim, and of course, to Pink Day Commander-in-Chief Donna Hoenig, who year-after-year coordinates this meaningful day for the TABC school community. TABC is proud to have raised over $4,000 for charity
