Don’t Miss the I.D.E.A Network’s MakerXpo on March 6

Electronics and circuitry, app creation, 3-D printing, videography, micro-green planting, sensors, secret knock detectors, design thinking, a fail forward lab and more!

The Maker Movement is all about making cool things with tech, and the I.D.E.A. Schools Network is excited to announce that our first MakerXpo, a carnival-like event that lets people experience high- and low-tech Making, will be taking place on March 6, 2016, 11:00 a.m.-5 p.m., at Yavneh Academy in Paramus, New Jersey. The booths will be run by middle and high school students and faculty. Beginner, intermediate and advanced dabblers in technology are all welcome. The booths will appeal to anyone, ages 3-120.

Tri-State area schools and organizations such as HAFTR, The Heschel School, Magen David Yeshivah High School, Ma’ayanot, PresenTense, The Schechter Day School Network, Yavneh Academy and Yeshivat Noam helped plan the event and will have booths there. Additional schools and organizations such as The Moriah School, Solomon Schechter Day School of Manhattan, Strategic Hebrew, Teva, Visrael, and the YU School Partnership are running booths or are contributing resources as well. Special thanks to the Joshua Venture Group, which helps fund the I.D.E.A. Schools Network, and to NetaWork, an event sponsor.
