Milton Spector, a distinguished RYNJ great grandfather, is a veteran of the United States Army who served for 15 months during the Korean War. In commemoration of Veterans Day, Mr. Spector spoke to fifth grade students about his basic training, what it was like during the war and his experiences as a Jewish soldier. Students learned all about the heroes who keep us safe and wrote thank you notes to our veterans and heroes.
