Congratulations to the JKHA middle school debate team who won first place school in their recent debate. The team headed out to Yavneh for their first debate of the year to compete against Yavneh and Noam. The team debated the pro and con sides of the resolution: Children under the age of 11 should not be allowed to own cell phones or tablets. The team has been meeting weekly to prepare. In addition to the first place school win, one debate pair from JKHA won second place team and two JKHA debaters tied for third place speaker.
