Mrs. Taubes’s 9th grade Biology class is learning about the cell and cell organelles using different modalities. They built the cell parts with their hands using play dough to get a feel (quite literally) for what the organelles look like and how they function together. The students enjoyed the hands-on activity of building free floating ribosomes and endoplasmic reticulum.
