The Yeshivat He’Atid kindergarten students had their Chagigat Sof Shanah and art show! It was an amazing opportunity for students to showcase the beautiful artwork they had completed throughout kindergarten. Over the year, kindergarten students traveled through centuries of famous artists to learn about various media and art styles. Each artist unit of study is connected to a specific topic within the early childhood curriculum, bringing the lessons to life. For example, when the children learn Parshat Bereishit, they connect the concept of Tohu Vavohu to the wild art style of Jackson Pollock. Students were so proud to have their artwork on display for all the parents to see. The night continued with parent-child activities which exemplified the experiential and hands-on learning that is fostered at Yeshivat He’Atid.
