Kindergarten students at Lubavitch on the Palisades had an outdoor get-together with the residents of Family of Caring to celebrate the new year. Family of Caring and Lubavitch on the Palisades were so happy to be able to reunite in creating programming for residents and students after a two-year hiatus due to Covid. One of the kindergarten students read the book “The First Day of Kindergarten’’ to the residents and one of the residents read the book “Ten Apples Up on Top” to the students in honor of Rosh Hashanah. Family of Caring gifted each child with a nylon bag with water and pretzels. Lubavitch on the Palisades students are looking forward to meeting regularly over the course of the school year with their new friends at Family of Caring.
