In the past few weeks Morah Michal’s Nursery B learned all about brachot. Starting with hamotzi followed by mezonot every week they learned about a different bracha, worked on their amazing Brachot Book and had a special in class experience related to the bracha of the week. For example, they baked challah for hamotzi, cupcakes for mezonot, squeezed grapes and made grape juice for hagafen. This week we covered the bracha of ha’adama. They painted Mr./Mrs. Potato Head for their adama page in their book and had french fries for snack. Next week they will conclude their unit with the bracha of shehakol and an ice cream party!
