Rabbi Pesach Raymon Yeshiva’s second grade students held a Chumash presentation. Parents came to watch as costumed students sang, danced and acted out midrashim of Matan Torah entirely in Hebrew. The event ended with each child receiving his or her very own first Chumash, commencing their curriculum of textual Tanach study using L’Havin U’LeHaskil. This curriculum provides a systematic approach to learning Chumash, teaching building block skills for textual study that continue to deepen and build in each grade.
