Shaare Zedek’s Weinstock Department of Emergency Medicine on the Fanya Gottesfeld Heller Floor has been ranked first in a nationwide survey of ERs throughout Israel. The report appeared in the December 1, 2015, edition of The Marker, Israel’s leading business newspaper.
The survey questioned men and women, secular and religious, 18 years of age and older, who accompanied patients visiting Israel’s emergency rooms. Measured parameters included length of time spent in the ER, registration process, thoroughness of examination, reliability (correct diagnosis), empathy shown to the patient, cleanliness, equipment age and condition, teamwork between doctors and nurses, and politeness of staff.
All of Israel’s hospitals were included in the survey.
