The Shabbat House is a brand new project, the first and only one of its kind in the world.

Shabbat House unites all Jews to celebrate and enjoy Shabbat together. The Shabbat House building has only recently been completed on 664 Eagle Rock Avenue in West Orange.

All are invited to participate in its dedication event (Chanukat Habayit), which will take place on Thursday evening, December 29, the sixth night of Chanukah, at 6 p.m. This event, which is free of charge, will include a nine-foot-menorah lighting, live music and fantastic entertainment for children and adults. There will be a balloon menorah for children. Delicious refreshments will be served, including homemade potato latkes, sushi and deli roll.
