Growing up in the ‘70s and ‘80s in the Brighton Beach/Manhattan Beach section of Brooklyn, our young congressman was someone named Charles Schumer.

We all quickly understood that Schumer has always needed to be loved, not just liked.

I hope Chuck now feels loved in the warm embraces of Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar. He seems to have not gotten enough “yasher koachs” from his own brothers and sisters, especially at our numerous gala dinners, into which he urgently inserted himself at most any opportunity.
