The sons of Officer Rafael Ramos, who was murdered in Brownsville with his partner Wenjian Liu, attended a Knicks game and met Carmelo Anthony (pictured with the boys in photo). The seats were provided by Sharing Seats, a non-profit organization that provides sick and underprivileged children event tickets. Mike Dube of Sharing Seats, also an Englewood resident, said, “Many of our youth today have insecurities about wearing a kippah and feeling proud about their heritage and who they are. This picture shows people that you can make a Kiddush Hashem on any level, especially in sports, by doing chesed. The Ramos boys had no clue who or what a Jew was before they met Mike Dube that night. Said Mike, “May we continue to shine light in the world to try and take away some of the darkness.”
