Sharsheret’s annual Pink Day on Wednesday February 9, was recognized at The Idea School in many meaningful and interactive ways. Science teacher Rivkah Gruber began the week by introducing genetics in biology class and then gave a talk on the genetics of breast cancer. The students and faculty wore pink in recognition of the day and honored loved ones who have suffered from breast cancer on an honor wall they created with awareness posters. Finally, at the weekly town hall on Friday, The Idea School students made challah in honor of Sharsheret Pink Day.
