In preparation for Rosh Hashanah, Anshei Lubavitch students helped make a real shofar. The children learned about which types of animal a shofar can come from, and how to be sure that a shofar is kosher. They touched, examined and listened to shofarot of different sizes and colors, and assisted in a live demonstration of transforming a ram’s horn into a working shofar.
