SINAI is the only Jewish school in our community that serves children with a broad range of complex learning or developmental disabilities who cannot learn in a regular educational setting. SINAI creates a completely individualized program for each child based on his or her social, emotional, and academic needs. With a 1:2 staff-to-student ratio, in-house therapies, and specialists on staff at each school, SINAI’s own cost per child is very high. The SINAI Benefit Dinner is critical to the school’s ability to provide scholarships to the many children who desperately need them. It will be held on February 9, at the Glenpointe Marriott in Teaneck at 5:30 p.m.
This year’s Guests of Honor are David and Marjorie Bernstein, William and Gail Hochman, Ma’adan Caterers’ Stuart Kahan and Yossie Markovic, Aryeh and Arielle Sheinbein, and Cantor Joseph and Beatrice Malovany. In celebration of SINAI’s 32nd or “Lev” year, this year’s honorees are being recognized for the particular qualities of their hearts which connect them to SINAI.
The dinner will feature a new, inspirational video called Sisters, which tells the moving story of the transformation of two girls who, with SINAI’s help, have overcome tremendous challenges.
