As part of SINAI Schools’ speech/language therapy program, the children at SINAI at RYNJ have a monthly “Giver’s Club” meeting, where they plan chesed activities. The students in the 2S class decided to make a Chanukah toy drive their first project of the year. As a group, they brainstormed all of the steps they would need to put together a toy drive and talked about who might benefit from toys that were collected. They worked in small groups to make posters, and have begun to collect toys that they will deliver to the children’s ward of a local hospital.
