(Courtesy of SINAI Schools) SINAI Schools parents who gathered November 16 for an evening of socializing, dinner and guidance were joined by guest speakers Rabbi Michael and Bassie Taubes. Rabbi Taubes is a rosh yeshiva at RIETS, Yeshiva University and The Marsha Stern Talmudical Academy, and rav of Congregation Zichron Mordechai in Teaneck. Bassie Taubes is a longtime health care professional and owner of Wellness Motivations, helping clients to live healthier, less stressful lives. The youngest son of Rabbi Michael and Bassie Taubes is a SINAI graduate. In a presentation entitled “Staying on the Same Page When the Page Is Always Turning,” the speakers offered thoughtful insights for parenting children with special education needs.
