(Courtesy of SINAI Schools) The excitement was palpable at Teaneck’s Marriott Glenpointe Hotel on Sunday, February 27, when SINAI Schools hosted its annual campaign and benefit dinner after a two-year hiatus. The event, which honored Tova and Shai Gerson, Dr. Lisa Kotler, Micah Kaufman and Edwin Ruzinsky, also paid tribute to the late Norbert and Liesel Schloss, whose children, Marsha and Tom Friedman, established a scholarship in their memory.

A highlight of the evening was the premiere of SINAI’s feature documentary, “In the Blink of an Eye,” which told the remarkable story of SINAI’s role in helping with the recovery of a SINAI student, Yoel Feder, following a debilitating accident and brain injury.
