After meeting with a representative from Sharsheret, the organization supporting women with breast and ovarian cancer, students at SINAI Shalem@Ma’ayanot decided to become involved with their Pies for Prevention fundraiser. After learning how to bake pies with Debbie Billig, the mother of one of their teachers, they combined forces with Ma’ayanot students at their weekly Lev Cafe bake sale, raising valuable funds for the organization.
