Students and faculty at SINAI@Ma’ayanot hosted a festive breakfast to thank business leaders throughout the community who have generously given their time to the students this year as partners in the Vocational Program.
Ilana Picker, Director of SINAI@Ma’ayanot, thanked all the Vocational Partners for helping their students master important skills, gain confidence and grow in independence.
One of the SINAI@Ma’ayanot students shared her experience working at Yeshivat He’Atid, The Therapy Gym, Nitzanei Noam and Ora’s Amazing Herbal. “I have loved my work,” she said. “I’ve learned so many skills over the years.”
The breakfast items were supplied by Lev Cafe—a coffee bar run by both Ma’ayanot and SINAI@Ma’ayanot students to raise funds for tzedakah throughout the year.
Representatives from many of SINAI’s Vocational Partners attended, including Ora’s Amazing Herbal, Dunkin Donuts (Walgreens Shopping Center in Teaneck), Nitzanei Noam Nursery School, Bergenfield Senior Activity Center, Sari Friedbauer Wigs, Yeshivat He’Atid, Yeshivat Noam, Dr. Henick’s Orthodontist office and Luba Jane’s Dog Grooming.
