(Courtesy of Something Borrowed) Something Borrowed is excited to announce the opening of Something Borrowed Teaneck Gown Gemach. With the generous offer from Bassy and Adam Lewis to use their home in the heart of New Milford, New Jersey the gemach opened its doors this month.
The gemach offers a collection of over 300 gowns for kids, catering to bat mitzvahs and other special occasions. In addition, it has over 150 adult gowns as well as 30 short dresses to fit all simcha needs. They also have a few bridal gowns and would love to grow their collection.
Something Borrowed extends their heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to make this gemach a reality: Robin Bin-Nun, Aviva Breda, Becky Katz, Bassy Lewis, Debra Okun, Ora Rapfogel, Ali Rosenthal, Rivki Rosenthal, Renee Schneier, Shira Yablok, and Elana Zachter. Without them, this endeavor would not have been possible.
Something Borrowed is still in need of more gowns and would love to help community members clear out some space in their closets and do a mitzvah at the same time. To contribute to the gemach, drop off gowns and dresses at two convenient locations, with porch drop off at any time.
Locations:
Debra Okun, 46 Sylvamdur Ave., Bergenfield
