There is room for up to 350 seated guests, with several distinct areas for different aspects of the party. Audiovisual capabilities include a 7-by-10 LED screen surrounded by two plasma TV monitors, plus state-of-the-art sound, lighting and special effects. Most exciting, SPACE Events offers in-house kosher catering. SPACE Events has a fully equipped food truck at the venue where executive chef Gilbert Delgado and his team will do all the food preparation under RCBC supervision. Delgado was the chef de cuisine at Mike’s Bistro, one of New York’s finest kosher restaurants. He has worked with top chefs in the non-kosher world like Bobby Flay, and has been a contestant on Chopped. “This is food that you will get in a restaurant, not in a banquet facility,” said Delgado, when I met him at SPACE Events. “I come from four-star restaurants and I approach the food the best way I can to give you that ‘wow’ factor.” SPACE Events has set dairy and meat menus with options for many kinds of gourmet cuisine.
SPACE Events can handle all aspects of your celebration, a capability greatly appreciated by busy moms and brides. Event planning is a complimentary service for all SPACE Events clients. The in-house graphics design team can handle it all from custom logo decals to “brand” your event to printed logo placement. Entertainers for bat/bar mitzvah parties include a DJ, emcee and two dancers. Although SPACE Events does not have a liquor license, you can bring in your own liquor and SPACE Events provides the bar staff and glassware.

Once booked, SPACE Events has a structured timeline so nothing falls through the cracks. The event team keeps the planning for your party on track. They will help you with any outside vendors you might want and coordinate everyone involved. Space has a tried-and-true process. You will meet with the event manager three months before your event, followed by planned meetings with the graphics design team, creative director for décor and entertainment coordinator. Your last meeting will be one month before the event and final guest numbers will be collected two weeks before the event. Then you come to your event and enjoy!
