Specialties continue to be an important part of students’ days, even though they are learning from home. The structure and format may have changed a bit, but BPY students continue to have opportunities to use multiple intelligences as they explore music, art, science and gym. In music, students have continued to study beat, motion and vocal exploration with Morah Sharon. The fourth graders are continuing to learn how to play on their recorders and all of the students are learning songs for Pesach. In art, Morah Miriam has created special hands on art activities that can be done as a family or by siblings in different grades. Morah Jean has created a new curriculum to help students turn their backyards and houses into the BPY BaBayit Discovery Lab. Through outdoor exploration and STEM challenges, students have opportunities to discover the world around them. Coach Van and Morah Tali are helping students stay active and energized at home.
