Staiman was raised in an Orthodox home in Baltimore. He attended the Beth Tfiloh Community School and upon graduation went to learn in Yeshivat Lev HaTorah in Israel. At 19 years young, Arky decided to make aliyah and jumped right into an Israeli hesder yeshiva to become fluent in Hebrew and to immerse himself in an authentic Israeli environment. He enlisted in the IDF and served in the paratroopers unit as a combat soldier. Staiman’s love for Eretz Yisrael bloomed as he traveled the land and found beauty in every corner. He decided to become a tour guide to enable others to experience that same magic. Within a few years he became one of Israel’s top rated tour guides, his contagious enthusiasm leaving people with a deep love for the land of Israel.

Staiman and his wife live in the Gush Etzion yishuv of Tekoa with their three children.
