(Naaleh Sports) The inaugural Naaleh Eagles JV volleyball team won their first game of the season against the Ma’ayanot Rapids! Team captains Adina Saperstein (10th), Talya Adler (10th) and Ettie Greenberg (ninth) had the team pumped and excited with pre-game rituals including dancing and colorful shoelaces for everyone. Both teams demonstrated incredible teamwork and commitment throughout the game. Freshman Atara Warburg started off both sets with amazing serves. Freshmen Yaffa Kanarek, Adira Shor, Aliza Sytner and captain Ettie Greenberg followed up with solid serving as well, contributing to the team’s win. Freshman Talia Popowitz was quick on her feet, returning several sets right back over the net, while freshman Leba Skoczylas and sophomore captains Adina Saperstein and Talya Adler had amazing hits which kept bumping up the score! The Eagles took the win after the first two sets, with scores 21-12 and 21-17, respectively. The team is so excited to continue playing and achieving and can’t wait to continue the season at their first home game against the SAR Sting on November 22. Go Eagles!
