The Jewish Link and Drink Up would like to recognize Hillel Jachter as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The recent graduate of the Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey took the spring 2022 Bergen County Flag Football League by storm, helping to lead his 678 Cowboys team to the championship. When asked about Hillel, RYNJ MSB principal, Rabbi Avi Bernstein, told The Jewish Link, “With tenacity and unrelenting passion, Hillel is a force to be reckoned with. Just as in his Torah learning, he never gives up until he succeeds. With unyielding effort and energy on both ends of the court, Hillel has incredible character and exceptional wit, making him an all-around player and person.”
