Spotlight on Zahava And Eliana Trinz

This spotlight is about two great girls. Eliana Trinz, age 6 ½, goes to the Theodora Smiley Lacey School. Her sister Zahava is almost 11 and goes to Yeshivat He’Atid. Zahava is in fifth grade. They live in Teaneck, near an awesome park.

Zahava, who is pretty tall for her age, likes to ride her bike and play “Sorry!” while Eliana likes to play Monopoly and read “WITH MY GLASSES ON,” she shouted. (She just got glasses and is very excited about them). Zahava has a sad story about her bike (cue suspenseful music).

Eliana’s favorite sport is soccer, and Zahava likes basketball and volleyball. Zahava likes to play with puppies and Eliana likes to play with bunnies. They don’t have any pets, but if they did they would want a puppy or a bunny. Zahava and Eliana both really like puppies. Eliana likes art.

Zahava is the first person in her family to read The Jewish Link and she likes to check to see if she’s in it, and Eliana likes to look for Zahava in it, too. If they had any job at The Jewish Link it would be to interview kids for the Kid’s Link Superfan of the Month. (Not happening, that job is taken). Their favorite person who works at The Jewish Link is Hannah Kratz (obviously).

They don’t have any specific favorite memes, and actually are not really that into the memes. Their favorite part of the paper is the schools section by far, but Eliana likes the sports section too. They also like the Kid’s Link and maybe like the comics, but not really.

Zahava is a big fan of random graphic novels and Eliana likes “Meet the Smurfs.” But really, they like The Jewish Link.

Hannah Kratz likes ketchup. If you would like to give her some, or to be interviewed as a Kid’s Link Superfan of the Month, she would appreciate it (especially the ketchup). Please email [email protected].
