We have all done it. You know what I’m talking about. Yes, even level-headed women become …star struck. We find celebrities out there whom we admire and follow them on social media, see what they have to say, and watch all the TV shows and movies they have ever been in.
What is not nearly as common is for a celebrity to become your fan. We were honored and thrilled in the summer of 2012 when none other than Mayim Balik ordered her first HydroChic outfit and then graciously (and unsolicited) posted about it on her social media channels as well as pics of herself in her HydroChic modest swimwear. It made us feel like celebrities too!
With our recent contest running on Kveller.com, we were super excited to see Mayim give us yet another shout out on Twitter and Facebook!
It makes us proud that Mayim Bialik is one of our customers because we truly see her as a strong role model since her character on the TV show the Big Bang Theory and the real-life Mayim Bialik are female scientists. The fact that she took the time to study for a Ph.D. in neuroscience is incredible to us and shows just how much women can achieve.

Mayim’s decision to wear HydroChic is atypical of Hollywood style. As former educators (once an educator always an educator, right?) and mothers of children of all ages (Daniella and I have children ranging in age from 2–25!), we are exceptionally proud to have Mayim as our fan.
