For as long as I have been a reader, I have been impressed at The Jewish Link’s commitment to balanced, nonpartisan reporting. It is for this reason that I was especially dismayed at the decision to publish an advertisement for a march on Washington related to mask and vaccine mandates. The ad contained intentionally misleading information about laws and mandates in various states. This would be problematic enough, but I can’t stop there. Envision what it will look like when this group shows up in Washington. Obviously Jewish men, women and children, wearing kippot, head coverings, and tzitzit, protesting against policies that many believe are necessary and keeping us safe. Regardless of personal beliefs and politics, how can this not result in a chillul Hashem?
