The 4-year-olds at Stein Yeshiva in Yonkers celebrated their alef-beis siyum this week. The children have mastered each of the letters of the alef-beis along with their sounds. They made crowns and wrote the first letter of their names, did puzzles, played a specially created matching game, went on a scavenger hunt around the yeshiva where they had to find a certain letter based on its sound, and played a quiz matching letters to their sounds. The kitah especially enjoyed making cupcakes, rolling out fondant for decoration, and then writing the first letter of their names. There was singing and dancing and so much fun. Yasher koach yeladim!
