Stephanie Danoff Furer is excited to join the educational team at Yeshivat Noam in the newly created position of speech and language pathologist in the middle school. Mrs. Furer has been working for the New York City Department of Education for the past five years, where she was granted tenure. She is a dedicated and passionate therapist consistently working to ensure the needs of her students are being met and exceeded. While working with the NYC DOE she excelled in working with students with language and processing delays. Her background in assessing specific areas of strength and growth using data-driven and differentiated instruction will prove useful in her work at Yeshivat Noam. Mrs. Furer will focus on supporting individual students by determining how they learn best, crafting goal-oriented plans and consulting with teachers to help tailor curriculum to create an optimal learning environment. According to Mrs. Jacqueline Lindenfeld, Yeshivat Noam’s middle school director of support services, “Mrs. Furer brings her professionalism, passion, impressive experience and, most importantly, the ability to connect with her students. We are certain that her energy and strong background will benefit our students.” Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Yeshiva University and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Adelphi University. She currently resides in Englewood with her husband, Jonathan, and two daughters, Hannah and Abigail.
