They got their upgrade! After coming up short in the Glouberman finals for the past two years, the Frisch varsity girls basketball team won the 10th annual Steve Glouberman z”l tournament championship for the first time in school history. The Cougars started off the tournament dominating their first two games against RASAG and KYHS winning both games by a large margin.

The next day, Frisch faced off against Flatbush in the quarterfinals and after a nice win went to face off the Shalhevet Firehawks in their home gym in the semifinals for the ultimate redemption game. The Firehawks came out in a tight man defense but that didn’t stop the tournament MVP Zoey Levy ‘26 from dribbling through the defense to get layup after layup. Evely
