Although last week was shortened by a holiday weekend and some snow, Yeshivat He’Atid still managed enough school to reach day #100! The preschoolers celebrated in so many ways (it seemed like 100)! They read 100 words, built structures out of 100 straws, made necklaces out of 100 Froot Loops, walked 100 steps, stacked 100 cups, built 100-piece lego buildings, ate 100 snacks, sorted 100 items and counted 100 (or more!) licks of a lollipop! Kindergarteners used their map skills to go on a treasure hunt on which they found 100 coins. They were eventually led to the Pirate Princess (Morah Janice) who shared her special 100th day treasure with them—ices!.
Last but not least, the school enjoyed visiting with some esteemed senior citizens. Who knew Yeshivat He’Atid had so many 100 year-old students and teachers!
