The OU’s Torah in New York last Sunday, April 29, at Citi Field featured a yeshiva league Torah Bowl competition in which nine schools participated, with one female contestant from each school. First, students competed in a Kahoot round and the top four scorers went on to a Jeopardy round. The content was general Torah knowledge and participants were not told to prepare in advance. The first place winner was junior Rivka Moskowitz from Bruriah, second place was senior Batsheva Leah Weinstein from Ma’ayanot and the third place winner was senior Rebecca Araten from Ramaz. “It was really exciting to get to participate in a Torah competition at Citi Field!” said Weinstein.
