Students Learn Torah From Peers at Bruriah

Every Friday at Bruriah, students have the special opportunity to hear from one student each week. The student presents a short dvar Torah on the parsha to the entire school. Since the students are presenting these divrei Torah to their peers, the nature of each speech is relatable, incorporating humor and engaging content. As Ariella Konigsberg, a junior from Springfield shares, “It is so interesting to see the different perspectives that each person has on the parsha. I feel so inspired to hear other students connect each concept to something we can all relate to.” This student-driven opportunity to learn together grants students a chance to learn presentation skills while going into Shabbat inspired and connected.
