It was standing-room only as people gathered at Suburban Torah Synagogue last week to hear the megillah and enjoy a family-fun carnival on Purim night. The evening featured an appearance by several “minions” and included amusements, traditional carnival fare, games, prizes and more. Costumes were optional, but many decided to take the opportunity to go all out. For the younger set, a special “6 and Under” carnival was held before Purim so they could get a sneak peek at the games and attractions before anyone else.
