Suede & Co has opened at 162 State Street, Teaneck, with fashionable women’s clothing for shul, work and play. Owner Brocha Aronovitch said in the three weeks the store has been open, they’ve been getting to know their new customers and learning what women in the area like.
Suede & Co has a mix of casual and dressy tops, skirts and dresses. Two-piece outfits are very popular this season and Suede & Co has several.
Aronovitch said oversized sweatshirts, pleated skirts and midi dresses are also trending. While basic black is plentiful, maroon and brown are showing widely this season. Aronovitch said she is selecting mostly American-made clothing by Jewish vendors who are creating their own lines. She has a mix of price points, and plans to expand her casual selections.
Aronovitch said she had always wanted to have a women’s clothing store, and the right opportunity came last September when she opened Daniella’s in Passaic, soon to be renamed Suede & Co. She is bringing in different styles for each location to give customers more choices. With new styles coming in weekly, Suede & Co encourages customers to visit frequently.
