Sukkot has always been a chag replete with opportunities for TABC’s students to remain connected to their yeshiva. TABC’s talmidim fulfilled the mitzvah to be mekabel p’nai rabo b’moed on both sides of the Atlantic. Rabbi Daniel Fridman, Rabbi Jonathan Kessel, Rabbi Duvie Nachbar and Rabbi Ari Zahtz (with a special visit from Head of School Rabbi Asher Yablok) hosted their Gemara shiurim in their respective sukkot for food, Torah and fun. It was a night of Torah, singing and further strengthening of the rebbe-talmid bond for all of them. In Israel, the many TABC alumni learning there had a reunion with former TABC rebbe, Rabbi Nosson Rich. The relationship between rebbe and student continues to hold strong long after graduation.
Additionally this year, as each grade in TABC has their own unique character, each grade was also able to partake in its own Simchat Beit Hashoeva. Thanks to the gracious hosting of the Glatter and Baron families, as well as Rabbi Ezra Wiener and Rabbi Asher Yablok, each student had a chance to celebrate the holiday with his classmates. Many talmidim continued the evening by heading to Boro Park together to experience some of the many Smachot Beit Hashoeva taking place there. V’samachta b’chagecha.
