After years of pandemic and precaution related disruptions, the Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey was happy to welcome scores of volunteers to make calls for their Super Sunday phonathon on Sunday November 20th at their offices in South River. The Federation’s Chief Communications Officer, Lisa Karasic, shared that the volunteers made about 5,000 calls as they reached out to roughly 2,400 recent donors to the Federation, in an effort to encourage them to renew their support in 2022. Volunteers represented different schools, shuls and communal organizations, and all took pride in pitching in to help raise funds for the Jewish Federation.
