Our community has so many great organizations doing so many good things and this paper is privileged to be a vehicle and paper of record for many of them. Yet we would be remiss with this edition not to mention and highlight and promote the Friendship Circle’s Friendship Walk this Sunday at Votee Park in Teaneck at 11AM.

Our paper has featured Friendship Circle’s activities and programs helping children and teens and young adults with special needs—and their families—countless times and we look forward to doing so for many years to come. We also know so many in our readership with no direct connection to individuals with special needs who have volunteered for Friendship Circle programs on Sundays, weeknights, and weekends. Friendship Circle touches so many in our community and the Walk is their main annual fundraiser.

Most of our paper’s staff are regular participants in the Walk and we invite everyone to come and enjoy a brisk walk and the entertainment to follow. If you can’t make it, we hope you can donate as well.
