No travel restrictions for us—because we have entered the world of social media with the addition of three very clever ACHI team associates: Meira Book, Jessica Bienenfeld and Devora Pahmer. Their talents are diverse and creative. Each is a star in her own capacity and they will complement each other in our public relations outreach to American communities.
Our goal is to highlight the need to support the Israeli economy and the many merchants who are struggling due to the pandemic. Our ACHI Market, at www.achi613.org, hosts over 150 vendors who can easily fulfill your shopping needs with products made in Israel and shipped to the USA or to Israel directly to your loved ones.
The ACHI Ambassador Program, which already has several members, is our unique way to involve teens in promoting a strong relationship with the land and people of Israel. Jessica Bienenfeld will be our liaison with schools across the U.S. and will coordinate and run our ACHI Ambassador Program to enlist students to create a spirit of solidarity with Israel. Programs and projects within schools will cause a ripple effect with ever-widening circles of families, friends, synagogues and communities becoming ambassadors themselves.
Devorah Pahmer is our West Coast associate. She will be our liaison with both elementary and high schools in the Los Angeles area and will be our techie to optimize our website www.achi613.org. Meira Book will be an influencer among her peers, both in Stern College and other social circles, gaining a following for us by promoting ACHI to social media influencers. Great at targeting ads, you’ll see her create a buzz on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
